Toulon, Jean de Mailly architect
In partnership with Architecture de Collection, a flat on the port of Toulon, on the fourth floor of the Toulon Frontale building. This 90 m2 flat offers bright spaces above the sea and the boats. It consists of a living room, a dining room extended by a large terrace with a panoramic view of the port of Toulon, a fitted and equipped kitchen with loggia, two bedrooms, one of which has a terrace, a shower room and a bathroom. The large south-facing windows open up the spaces to the sky, the sea and the port. The structural posts of the building, left exposed and raw, give rhythm to the volume of the living space. Custom-made bookcases in exotic wood delimit a reading and relaxation area and a writing space. On the floor, large tiles, used both in the various rooms and on the terraces, increase the feeling of space and blur the boundary between inside and outside. The bedroom and living area terraces are separated by an openwork concrete screen for privacy.
The residence enjoys an ideal location. The entire city is within walking distance. Boat departures to the islands and Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer.
